FAQ
Direct questions deserve direct answers. Here are the ones we get most.
Is this adaptive clothing?
Nope. Curbcutters Unlimited is an apparel brand built from disability lived experience. We are not designing adaptive garments, and we are not pretending a T-shirt is an accessibility solution. We are making things people with disabilities might actually want to wear. Radical concept, apparently.
Do I have to be disabled to wear Curbcutters Unlimited?
No. Friends, partners, family, advocates, and people who actually care about disability rights are welcome here. Just remember that disability is not a costume.
Are you only for wheelchair users?
No. The name comes from mobility disability and we are proud of that history. The people who connect with Curbcutters Unlimited are wider than one device, diagnosis, or symbol.
Why does a clothing brand talk about politics?
Because somebody made a lot of ordinary life with a disability political long before we printed anything on a shirt. Access, healthcare, work, benefits, transportation, education, relationships, and community living are shaped by decisions people make in public.
Are you trying to inspire people?
God, no. If something we make helps somebody speak up, try something, make something, or keep going, cool. People with disabilities still do not exist to provide motivational content for everybody else.
What does Curbcutters Unlimited mean?
It started with mobility disability and the curb cuts that make streets, neighborhoods, and public life more usable. We like curb cuts. The name is about access, movement, and the people navigating whatever comes next.
How do I know what size to buy?
Use the garment-specific size chart on the product page. Because products may come from different blanks or suppliers, measurements matter more than assuming the same labeled size will fit exactly the same way every time.
How long does shipping take?
Everything is printed when you order it, so add production time before shipping time. Full timelines and costs are on the Shipping & Returns page, and your order confirmation includes tracking.
What if something is wrong with my order?
Email hello@curbcuttersunlimited.com with your order number and a photo if something arrived damaged or misprinted. We will make it right. The details live on the Shipping & Returns page.
